From what you're saying it sounds like you have Outlook 2007 on one machine
that is checking your Yahoo mailbox, and you remote into another machine
that does not have Outlook and are presumably checking Yahoo via the
website?
If this is the case, did you instruct Outlook 2007 to leave a copy of
messages on the server when you set up the Yahoo account? By default POP3
clients will remove mail from the server once they've downloaded the mail.
