Default Registration Probs - Microsoft office

I bought a new laptop with a trial version of Microsoft Office (Vista). I
also bought Microsoft Office Home & Student which I loaded and registered.
Now I keep getting a message to register my product but won't accept the
product code which was on the disk case and says it is invalid. When I press
the button on the message for online help it just opens a blank word
document. Will the message stop eventually when the trial runs out or does
the message refer to my bought version?

You should have uninstalled the trial version first. Now your best bet is to
uninstall BOTH versions, and re-install the Home and Student version.

You should have uninstalled the trial first.
Uninstall all of Office, clear temp files, reboot & reinstall H&S
PS There isnt an Office Vista
