Registration error

I got an official version of Microsoft Office 2007 Home & Student with the
purchase of my laptop. I installed it on my desktop and registered the
product. I realized that after doing that, I couldn't activate the product on
my laptop. So I ended up uninstalling the Office from my desktop. However, I
still get the same error message. What should I do to solve the issue?
