Default Reduce Page Size for Printing

I am trying to print a web page but it is wider than 8.5 inches. How can I
reduce the wide of the website page? I tried to go to properties in my
printer to reduce but it won't help because went it send to the printer it
does not send the whole wide, when go to page review it does not show the
whole page.

This has nothing to do with Office and you have posted often enough in
other newsgroups to choose a more appropriate newsgroup, although I
see you have been told that before in this group.

As you have posted previously in the IE6 group then try this:
IE Fixed-Width Printing:

Print in landscape mode.

I also use a printer driver from Epson for IE 6 (wont work properly with
IE7) that also works for most printers not made by Epson, all you need to do
is answer a warning that it may not produce acceptable output.
http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/s...atform=Windows
(Watch URL wrap)

Look for the Web-to-Page item and download and install.

I use the utility for HP, Epson and Okidata and PrimoPDF printers without
any issue.

First I would like to Thank You for your help. I followed your advice and
the toolbar showed up only once but now the web-to- page toolbar is not
there.

In Internet Explorer 7, click on the down arrow next to the print icon and
select Print Preview. You will find a number of size selections including
shrink to fit.

Try File - Print - Preferences - Advanced. Change the scale. Try 75%.

I have Vista and IE7 but I know that it's there for IE6 because I just did
it this week at work. I have XP Pro there but I'm almost positive the
command is still there. And then email the webmaster and let them know that
they need to work on their site. ;-)

Hi JoAnn

FWIW...........
While the OP may have that option, it appears to be printer-dependent,
not part of IE6 or IE7.
e.g.
My HP Laserjet has the option in File-Print-Preferences-Effects (no
Advanced)
My Canon MP180 has the option in File-Print-Preferences-Page Setup (no
Advanced)

My Brother Laser has no such option (but has Advanced)
My Epson inkjet has no such option (but has Advanced)

Thank you. I figured it was worth suggesting. Let's hope the OP has that
function and can get the site printed to suit. :-)
