Protection default while printing

I spoke with HP and configured the office printer. The printer now works
perfectly however, I have an error when I attempt to access the Properties
when printing. The error messages differ a bit each time. Follow:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office 10\winword. EXE Function address
0x50da5aa caused a protection default (Exception some or all property page(s)
may not be displayed. or Function address 0x4fda5aa caused a protection
fault (exception code 0xc0000005) or
Windows\Explorer.exe function address 0x41aa5aa.

Help please.
