Product Key problem

I purchased Office Home and Student, retail. On the back cover it says
"licensed for 3 PC's". I asked this group if I can install this product on
my 2 computers and was told that I could. I just tried my second
installation and it keeps telling me that the product key is incorrect. Now
what?
