product key error

when I am prompted to put in my product key, I get an invalid key number
message. I downloaded the key number from help & am putting in correctly
from what Microsoft sent me. Any suggestions?

The product key is never found anywhere in the Help menu.. It's on an orange
or yellow sticker on your CD case.

The software came with my HP computer so I never had the disc to download.
It says I have 14 more times to put it in & then it will shut down. It said
if you don't have a key number, follow this procedure to receive the number.
I did that & it came back with a number. Now when I put that number in it
says it is invalid.

You need to contact HP since it was preinstalled. It's their responsibility
to get you up and running.
