I have just loaded Office2003 on 2 new PC's on my LAN. If I try and open
some "older" word docs created about 1 year ago from my server, word hangs.
However I can still open them using the other Word XP and Word 2000
machines.
I also found that if I copied the file to the new PC's Desktop and
disconnected the LAN cable, they opened.
Anybody any ideas what could be causing this ? All the permissions on the
server are A-OK.
