Default Printing Word docs from shortcuts

This used to work for me but no longer does and I can't see why.

I have a folder with shortcuts in to Word documents. All the Word documents
exist.

I select all the shortcuts, right click and select print. But only the one
that I right click on prints all the others that are selected are ignored.
Same with Open which uses less paper!.

Any clues?

many thanks

Rod

have you run Office Diagnostics (2007) or Help, Detect and Repair (2003
and earlier)?

No, I should have mentioned that I am running Office XP PS 3 on Windows XP

I have now run the Detect and Repair - nothing changed.

Perhaps you installed or updated some anti-virus or security software
that caused this change?
