Re: PLEASE HELP, REDUCED FUNCTIONALITY OF OFFICE PROFESSIONAL 2007
Thanks Jay, I think I am more nervous as some of the instructions hadn't been
just as what was on my screen as I was working through it e.g. "installer
folder" it said 'on the view menu, click details' - when clicking on "view'
there wasn't any details, it was just to click preference of view - I was
even lost then almost at the beginning! You were then supposed to select the
'subject' text box and type 340 - I couldn't find any of those!
When getting to type "regedit" you are supposed to click subkey:
"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\1 2.0" all I could see was
"HKEY_CURRENT_USER" When I clicked on that there were all these folders (I
could see that office12 was one of the folders) but it didn't show regkeys at
all! I think I am seriously out of my depth don't you think?
I can't be without office, I use it in everything I do, and used to have the
earlier versions. I use many programmes/software, but going in to the
workings is another matter!
