Default Picture Manager vs Photo Editor

I am now running Office Pro 2007. I need Photo Editor. I reinstalled just
the Photo Editor from office 2000. I can now manipulate my old saver photos
and pictures but I can not use any new photos that I recieve in email or
download in Photo Editor. When I save the picture it is saved as a pjeg
instead of a regular jpeg. I think this is causing the problem. Whatever
the problem is, how do I work around it? With the work that I do I have to
use the Photo Editor.
