How do you PASSWORD Protect a file folder or can it be done. (XP Pro)

Is this for Office or any file on your OS? If yes, then post to a group for Windows XP for better answers.

As Milly suggested, you may want to post to a Windows newsgroup. However,
many of the Office applications have their own security built in. You can
use F1 to get help and type in "password" or "protect" to get more details
on the protection of files within each application.

There is not password protection on Windows Files. It's a NTFS system, and
it's done using permissions of users.

protection utility for folders.

Password protection is available on Zipfolders/files in Windows XP.
