Default Outlook 2007 appointment times & ActiveSync 4.5

Hi,

I'm using Outlook 2007 and ActiveSync 4.5 to update my iPAQ. If I add or
change an appointment on the iPAQ then sync, the Time in OL 2007 is set 1
hour later. If I add or change an appointment in OL, then the Time on the
iPAQ is an hour earlier. If I "fix" the time on either OL or the iPAQ then
sync, they get even more off. This is very frustrating.

Has anyone else had this problem? I just started using this iPAQ over the
weekend. The appointments from the original sync that haven't been changed
are OK.

This iPAQ is a little over a year old, my husband gave it to me. I would
really appreciate any insights into this problem.

Thank you.

I have the exact same problem when synchronizing between my AT&T Tilt and 2
computers (office and home office). Both computers use Pacific time and are
accurate, as is my phone. So I'm not sure what's happening but is sure is a
pain.

That issue normally indicates a DST problem. Check with your phone mfg to see if they have a DST update. Many had them last year but folks who bought their phones after March 2007 never saw the need to update their software to come into compliance with the DST changes.
