Default Office XP one page only

Weird problem...

I can open multi-page documents no problem but I can only create a single
page document. If I create a doc that takes more than one page, nothing
beyond page one will display, print preview or print

Hi Solo,

I'm assuming you're referring to using MS Word in this case and that you're using documents on your hard drive or a network drive,
not on a removable drive.

If so, see if holding down the control key while starting Word changes the behavior and that you're in print layout view, when you
start a new document.

Does this occur in only one particular document? If yes, then open the
document, and click on Format | Columns | One | Apply to: Whole document
| OK. Even if "One" already appears to be selected, click on it anyway.

Or does this occur in all new documents? If yes, then locate and open
your Normal.dot file as described in Method 1 in
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/...ocNotBlank.htm . Click on
Format | Columns | One | Apply to: Whole document | OK. Even if "One"
already appears to be selected, click on it anyway. Type a character or
two and delete what you just typed. Save the Normal.dot file and close it.
