Default OFFICE HAS UNISTALLED!!

i have been using office for 5 years now and suddenly it wont let me access
any of the programmes. it says "preparing to install" then asks for the
"professional office and frontpage cd" which i have put in but it doesnt help
says its not the right one then cancels the installation. i then tried to
repair using the xp office cd but it gets so far then asks for the office cd
again, even though it is in the machine already?

please help i really need word to do my assigment!!
