I have a customer who's users are running XP SP2 with Office SMB 2007 and
roaming profiles being downloaded from an SBS 2003 server.
2 users (so far) have logged onto other machines and discovered that when
they try to double click on an office doc (which they have previously
accessed) or use file->open, word or excel hangs and the process must be
killed.
They work without a problem on their original machine.
I have checked the event logs and there is nothing out of the ordinary
except for the application hang log.
I have tried running detect and repair and even reinstalling office, but no
luck. I have not recreated the roaming profile, because it works correctly
on their original machines.
Does anyone have any ideas what I might try to look for?
