Office compatibility pack vs. Word, Excel and PowerPoint viewer 20

Will the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack allow Office 2007 files to open
on PC’s that are running only Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint viewer
2003. Microsoft Office is not installed.

I don't know about the Word and Excel viewers, but it should let the 2003
PPT Viewer open 2007 PPTX/PPSX files. In fact, the 2007 PPT Viewer is really
just the 2003 Viewer bundled with the compat pack.
