I got a copy of Office and other products (FrontPage, Project, Visio, etc)
from the university I attended. The software all says it is activated yet
when I try to authenticate the products I get messages that all the products
I have can not be authenticated.
I do not understand why this happening and what I need to do to authenticate
the products, are these bogus copies? This is a well known university so I
would have to believe the products are legal.

What version (e.g., 2002, 2007, etc.) and what edition (e.g., Standard,
Professional, etc.) of Office? What are you doing when you get the
authentication message? What is the exact text of the authentication
message?

I finally figured out that Visio and Project were not activated. Once I
activated those two products the authentification worked.
Thanks for your help.
