Thank you. Are there certain limitations? Would you recommend that I
purchase Office 2007 if I am using windows XP?

I have an old Dell notebook computer running Windows XP
and Office 2007 Professional and it runs great! Why not try
the 60-day trial version of Office before actually making a
purchase decision?

I read somewhere that the grammar checker needs at least 1 GB of RAM. I am
using Office 2007 on a Dell Inspiron with XP and 2 GB, and it is working
great, even the German Language Pack. I thought at first it might have
memory management "issues" but XP seems to work fine with it. The college
where I takes classes has about a zillion computers with this configuration.

Cheers,

Earle

Works like a charm on an old Gateway PIII 500 with 384 RAM. Just don't expect it to fly like with more RAM or a newer computer. (I keep the old beauty around for testing - works fine!!)

I've got a Gateway PIII 550 with 384 RAM that works just fine too. I
maintain that with proper care a computer can last for years and years.
