Office 2007 on Vista crashes on startup

Hi,

I run Office 2007 on Vista Ultimate and I have installed all latest updated
including SP1. When starting any of the Office 2007 apps (powerpoint, excel,
word), the application willl crash upon the first action I perform. This is
happening since 3 days.

E.g. when opening a powerpoint presentation, I am able to look at the first
slide, but after 5 secs or so, a messsage appears saying "Office Powerpoint
has stopped working" and the app closes. The same for Word and Excel. Please

I've had a similar experience with Excel 2007. However, since I really don't
like the new UI (it's awkward, clunky and has affected productivity
adversely), I'm planning on moving back to Office 2003.

Hi

Have you tried running office diagnostics? It can be found through office
button -> powerpoint options -> resources.
