Office 2007 - Just installed, me no like, but I want to...
Ok, it does look pretty, however I use word in two modes;
1) ModeOne: Development using DDE, replicating forms to merge client data
to. (Notice I didn't say anything more, it's not true I also use ADO to merge
data)
2) ModeTwo: Automated printing of forms w/out user intervention or monitoring.
Things I'm looking for, questioning and hoping for...
1a) Where is my favorite toolbar, Tables & Borders that I can dock on the
right
vertical ruler?
2b) I have links w/in my docs, I may be printing any of 500+ docs to any of
30000 clients at any time in an automated process from a server to a printer,
there will be no one to click, Yes to allow the links to update a thousand
times, three times a day. I need the links to update and not prompt the user.
2c) Here's the deal killer, all of my docs including an commercial addin
that the developer will not support i.e. update to Office 2007, are all
written in Word 2000.
Happy note, I have the black theme on and I like that.
Add the key undr Office12, Word, Options similar to MSO 2002.
Since I'm printing from a server where rarely anyone downloads anything or
never uses e-mail this is as safe as can be expected.
