Default Office 2007 Disaster!

I downloaded the Office 2007 60 day trial version. Bit mistake.

First it ate my Google Search, installing MSN & Yahoo search engines to IE
ver. 7. Then I got the error message: "sqldumper library failed.
installation corrupt or tampered with." I'm supposed to re-run or
re-install. I re-ran - no go.

I un-installed Office 2007. I still have the little message: "sqldumper
library failed. installation corrupt or tampered with."

Does anyone have a clue? Does anyone have a fix? What did I do wrong
(besides download Office 2007?)

Thank you, Lucy. I'm now on the right path. **** Microsoft for making this
so difficult. All I wanted to do is try 2007, not screw up my system!

What I don't understand is why the trial installation automatically
installed MSN and Yahoo components without asking for confirmation They've
been sued over such practices and I've found they're very careful about
these things now (not to mention MS doesn't own Yahoo) and also installed
files for SQL Server or perhaps Business Contact Manager (which available
for OEM installations only) or MS Accounting.

It sounds as though microsoft.com wasn't used for the download and another
one was used instead. If that's the case I suggest updating your virus
scanner and performing a full scan. Who knows if anything else was installed
without your knowledge.
