Default Office 2007 Applications

this error message differs depending on the Office 2007 application used.
Initially I upgraded my Office 2003 to 2007 and received the error. I than
removed Office completely and Installed it fresh. Searched quite a bit and
can't find a solution for this.
Error being reported is:

Word couldn't send mail because of MAPI failure: "Operation not supported".

Runnings Windows XP SP2.
Install program is Office 2007 Pro Plus(not a beta version and did not use
the beta version)
Outlook is set to my default mail client.

Save the original and try this:
Making repair to mapi system requires the following registry lines:

Run regedit

SOFTWARE

MICROSOFT

Windows Messaging Subsystem

CMC Reg_Sz 1

CMCDLLNAME Mapi.dll

CMCDLLNAME32 Mapi32.dll

MAPI 1

MAPIX 1

MAPIXVER 1.0.0.1
