Default Office 2007

Why can't I change the color scheme at all? Doesn't matter what I choose for
color scheme I always get blue at the very top and the rest is a very pale
grey, almost white.
Running Xp PRO SP2 on a desktop.

Changing the color scheme in Windows doesn't affect the color scheme in
Office 2007. You can choose one of three color schemes (blue, black, or
silver) in Office 2007 by starting Word and clicking on Office Button |
Word Options | Popular | Color scheme: <choose one> | OK.

Why don't some Office apps respect that setting (OneNote, InfoPath,
Publisher, etc) but instead use the Windows XP color scheme? Is there any
way to force them to be consistent... color scheme-wise? Even worse, on
Vista, they're blue no matter what you change your Vista or Office color
scheme to. NO MATTER WHAT?! Headache inducing interface design. Whoever is
responsible for bringing together Office's UI design should be fired IMHO.
