Default office 2003 validation

I have office 2003 and the update said it was invalid and that never happened
before. I have a brand new copy of office 2003 that has not been used. Is
there a way to just add the new key without a reinstall.
Thanks

The answer can be found in the Microsoft Knowledge Base.

2007 Office programs and suites' (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/895456)
