Default Office 2003 SP 3

Hello ALL,

OK, I have Vista Ultimate and Office 2007 Professional. I went to download
updates via the Windows Software Update and one of the items to Download was
Office 2003 SP3. OK, normally NP, BUT I do not have Office 2003, but Office
2007. So my questions is this:

Q1: Do I need to download and run this update?
Q2: What would be the DIRECT (By Passing Windows Software Update) path for
checking out Office 2007 Updates?

Thanks ~ Gunny

Hi Gunny,

You probably have the Office 2003 Web Components installed without even
realizing it, as these are automatically installed along with certain
applications. If you look in the Programs area, you will likely see that
feature listed there. If so, then yes, you will need to install SP3 to
bring the OWC to the current level.

Hope this helps.
