We noticed this evening that when we try to start one of the Office programs
from the start menu, all of the shortcuts are no longer there. When we click
on Microsoft Office, the only link that shows up is Office Tools. We can,
however, still start all of the applications from the Quick Launch bar.
We also noticed that under Office Tools, the link for Picture Manager is
also missing.
If you go to control panel >> Add remove Programs >> select Office >> Change
>> then Reinstall or Repair
You get the option to reinstate the start menu shortcuts

From a running Office application click Help, Detect and repair, follow
the prompts.
