Office 2003 compatibility with Office 97 file formats

hi,

my office is in the process of upgrading from Office '97 (unbelievable, I
know) to Office 2003. There was until about a month ago a Microsoft webpage
that explained the compatibility issues (or not) berween the different Office
applications. It was called "Microsoft Office 2003 and file sharing in
heterogenous Office environment" and its address was:

I needed to reference this in order to avoid having individual test every
Office document under Office 2003. Can anyone tell me if this information is
available anywhere still? Or if not, there must be somewhere in one of the
Microsoft domains that assures us, the end user, that Office 2003 is backward
compatbile with Office 97 (other than Access which needs converting). It must
be stated somewhere, they cannot just expects to just hope. I even downloaded
the "Whitepaper: Office 97 to Office 2003 Migration" but this still links to
the site I mentioned above.

Can you tell me what application you use to do your migration.
I found software on http:\\www.replacemagic.com but would like to see
what are other options.
