Office 2003 applications not working after system restore.

I accidentally uninstalled Office 2003 (and several other apps). I did a
system restore to an earlier date but my Office apps (Outlook, Word, Excel)
no longer work. I keep getting a "Windows Installer" , "Preparing to
install..." window pop up but nothing reinstalls. I tried looking at the
System Configuartion Utility "Services" section and it shows that "Windows
Installer" Status says "Start Pending".

Any ideas on what I can do?

Reboot and try running Detect & Repair? (Control Panel | Add/Remove
Programs)
