Word and Excel both give this error when saving files to our Win Server
2003: "There has been a network or file permission error. The network
connection may be lost." But it does save the files. Every Vista Business
PC with Office 07 does this. I opened Word Pad and saved without an error.
Have seen numerous postings about this issue but no solution. I disabled
Defender and our eTrust Antivirus8 but still get error. Don't have MS
OneCare installed. These are new OEM PC's right out of the box. Surely
there is a fix?? Diane

a clue in the explanation that could help you.

I'm having the problem described in the article when saving from Windows
