Was wondering about this issue I'm faced with. What I have is a bunch
of old family letters that are all written in Italian. I was hoping I
could use an OCR solution to scan it into the computer and have it
translated to English once I have a viable scan. Anyone know how I
should go about getting this done?? My Microsoft install is not the
Italian version obviously and I don't have the Italian keyboard etc..
Maybe its similar enough to scan over ok to be translated???
Ideas please.. This will help my family greatly as we're currently
studying my long lost relatives as to hopefully find living relatives
to get in touch with.
OCR software isn't perfect. I would suggest using the scan of the document
as a picture and get it translated from that.
