Default new install office home and student 2007

I have a new computer that has MS office trialware installed. I have a new
licensed retail copy of ms office 2007 student and home version i want to
install. Do I need to uninstall all office trialware currentl on the computer?

Yes, it would be a neater/cleaner installation if you first uninstall
the trial Office 2007, restart the computer, and then install your
purchased Office 2007.

There is also MS works installed. Will there be conflicts and should I
uninstall also? Or is it OK to leave Works on the system?

It should be okay to leave Works on the system.

Same problem. After uninstall, and new install with a new licensed retail
copy, it would not accept the product key from the package, but installed it
as a trial version again.
