Default New computer and product keys

I am buying two new computers. My old laptop had Office Small Business
preinstalled but I have the disks with the product key. My desktop had Office
for Students and Teachers that I purchased separately and installed myself.
Will Microsoft issue new Product Keys so I can install these products on my
new computers or am I S.O.O. Luck? I imagine the Small Business version is an
OEM

OEM isn't valid on anything but the computer it came on. As for the
retail copy of Office S&T, simply uninstall from the old, and install on
the new, no new keys needed.

OEM versions of Office are tied to the computer that they were preinstalled
on and cannot be transferred to a new computer.

Retail Office for Students and Teachers {assume 2003} and be installed on
multiple computers for family non-commercial use. Read the EULA for
specifics. Open any Office Students and Teachers application and go to Help,
About for a link to the EULA.

Do

DL, JFY&OI how many computers S & T can be installed on depends on the
version. XP's S & T only allowed 2 computers while 2003 allowed 3. 2007
Home and Student allows 3 also.

(JFY&OI = just for your and other's info)

The Student and teacher version is 2002 and was a single install. The Office
Small Business was preinstalled on a refurb I purchased from Dell. I still
have the two disks as well as the product key. There's no way to activate the
disks on a new Dell laptop - I did pay for the product as the cost was built
into the price of the computer.

How can I be sure what I have is an OEM version of Small Business Office?
There are two disks and a product code. Thanks.

No, with OEM license, you paid to USE the product on the computer it
came with, nothing more. Office Small Business 2002/XP only came as OEM,
BUT if it was 2003 the preinstalled bit is usually a tip off.

What does it say on the discs "only sold with new PC"? If it is Office
SBE 2002/XP, it was only produced as OEM.

You paid for the product at an OEM cost, which is a substantial discount to
retail cost, hence it cannot be transfered
