My Fonts are doing where things

Hi there,
I am really stuck here on this one.
Recently it appears that when typing in Outlook, or even MS Office my
letters appear to be a little confused.
When i try to use ?(question mark) or nay of my brackets etc..it works here
apparently..they are coming up as the wrong thing. Like question mark is
coming up at E with a slash over it??
Where do i fix this?? And HOW!!!!! Its driving me nuts!!
