Default MS Office at MgwGlobal.com?

If this message is off topic then could you please suggest where I should
post this question.

MS Office Pro retail is listed at $210 at MgwGlobal.com
(http://www.mgwglobal.com/microsoft.php). Has anyone ever purchased
software from this web site?

That web site is misrepresenting the product. They state:

"Note: "Academic" is written on the box.
This is the full version of this software. This software is fully legal for commercial and educational use".

Here are the facts:

About Microsoft Academic:

Cannot be used commercially.
Microsoft Academic Editions are fully functional products - same as MS retail products - but at a special price.
Are you eligible for academic pricing?
Customers meeting the criteria below are eligible to acquire Microsoft Academic Edition (AE) products in the programs indicated and
are defined as Qualified Educational Users:
Educational Institutions
Administrative Offices & Boards of Education
Teachers, Faculty and Staff
Students
Public Libraries
Public Museums
Home-School Programs
Hospitals, Healthcare systems and Research Laboratories

All Microsoft eligible education customers must be located or reside in the United States. Qualified Educational Users are a those
entities that both have an educational purpose or mission and meet the criteria specified below. If a controversy exists as to an
organization's eligibility, Microsoft retains the right to determine in its sole discretion the eligibility of the organization for
the specific transaction in question. The following are eligible to acquire Microsoft Academic Edition (AE) products in the programs
indicated and are defined as Qualified Educational Users.

Its an Academic version, which I understand is not licensed for Commercial
use. Its supposed to be used by those in the 'learning/teaching' field

Hello,

I purchased from MGW Global last month and I do not agree with what the
MVP is stating. I have done some research in the past month about the
software manufacturers rights to distribution and have found the
following:

1) Because of the First Sales Doctrine anyone is legible to use, sell,
and activate this software because the software publisher loses
distribution rights after the first sale is conducted.

I used and activated the software and it worked fine and is identical
to the normal version. I would urge everyone to actually look into the
legalities of this. Send a reply if you have any further questions.

Default mgw global

One guy here has bought and received MS Office Pro '07 for the price shown. Several others here have recently placed orders and received order numbers but no tracking numbers. And none have received anything ordered - those orders were placed July 3.

Anybody know the status of MGW? They show they were moving but they don't have anyone answering e-mails, etc.
