Office Basic is OEM only and there is no price available.

Why do you think it's ambiguous? It tells you how much the full and upgrade
versions of Office cost as well as the full and upgrade cost of the
individual programs. It also spells out the qualifying product you need for
the upgrades.

This site tells you which programs are included in the various suites.

Hi Bill,

Office 2007 Basic editon is a qualifying crossgrade (move up within same version series) to another MS Office 2007 suite, or to add
Powerpoint 2007 standalone upgrade edition.
