Default MS Access 2000 missing Login ID And Password check box

Hi all - I am working in MS Access and setting up a link via "Get External
Data" to an Oracle database, using an ODBC connection. Somewhere during the
setup I am supposed to see a check box that allows for the login ID and
password to be saved but I do not see the check box.

I have run through some MS registry settings that might have been preventing
the check box from showing, but my registry does not contain any of the
settings.

Any ideas from the community would be appreciated.
