Does Microsoft still sell MS Office Professional 2003? We are trying to buy
a legal version to give to a client for them to use legally on one computer
at their company. They currently have a very old version, but are not quite
technically adept to re-learn 2007. While many of us love 2007 there is a
learning curve and this client doesn't have time for that in her job.
If MS still sells this, please post a link. I cannot find it anywhere other
than from other vendors and I am afraid to order from someone other than MS.

You may still be able to find a copy but since Office 2007 was released a
bit over a year ago, your chances aren't as good now as they were a year
ago. Try Amazon.com.

That's really too bad if MS does not continue offering Office 2003 because a
lot of people are not going to like 2007. I personally do, but I still have
2003 on my home computer, too, alongside 2007 for when I am in a huge hurry
on a project and do not have time to "find" a particular command. We still
use 2003 at work and my co-workers do not want to change over to 2007 because
it is so different and they do not feel like they have the time to learn it
at work (and have no interest in having it at home).

When the 2008 new car models come out, they replace the 2007 models, which
are no longer being produced, and once the 2007's are all sold, they're no
longer available unless you can find a used one ;-)

I would never consider buying used software. I want to be completely legal
because I am buying for business use. It was "thoughtful" of MS to enable us
to install 2007 in addition to your previous version rather than overwriting
it. Anyway, it seems I have found a reputable site that has MS Office 2003
Professional that is the full, retail (as opposed to OEM or academic) version
available, and full license and Key, so I will purchase from them.

Thanks, Bob, but we aren't buying for the entire company. We are purchasing
one copy for use on one computer by one person. We have been having to do
all her editing for her because her old version is apparently buggy and her
IT people are not helpful. They just tell her "If your broker can do it for
you, send them the file!" which was fine up to a point, but that point has
been passed!
