Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007 File Formats

Hi,
I am not able view the attachments of office 2007 files such as *.docx,
*.xlsx etc. Entry of Mime type is perfectly fine. The files are only
opening on the systems where office 2007 is installed. After applying
the patch of microsoft it is showing "unknown file format" alert.

The configuring of my system is Windows XP Proffessional x64 SP1,
office 2003.

Anyone please help.
