Default MDI File printing backwards

Office 2000 - using UPS software, sometimes creates an MDI (microsoft
digital imaging) file - the file looks fine, but when trying to print it to
any printer, all but the UPS logo prints backwards and upside down. I've
checked settings and can't figure out why - even if i print to a pdf , the
pdf is backwards/upside down. what could be doing this and how can I fix
it. Thanks.

This is going to sound like a really lame fix, but it works, at least it did for me the one time it happened.

1. Open the .mdi file with the Microsoft Office Document Imaging program.

2. Click on File > Save As... > and change the Save as type to Tagged Image File Format(*.tif)

At this point you print it out or do another Save as to save it back as a .mdi file and it will print out fine also.

Hope this helps.
