See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928091/en-us "Information about
using 2007 Office suites and programs on a computer that is running
another version of Office".

Default Many versions of Office Side by Side

I suppose this post has already been discussed but I must have aclear answer
before I procede because I heard so many opinions on the subject.

I have Office97, 2000, XP and 2003 installed on my computer and all of them
run correctly and I can program for anyone of them.
I run Windows XP SP2 with all updates current.

I wish to install Office 2007 and KEEP ALL, I stress "ALL" previous versions
of Office on the machine.
Is this possible?

I heard people saying that only 2003 is compatible, I also heard that all
versions since 2000 will work but not 97, some say you can only upgrade,
others say 2007 will automatically delete 97, etc.
Can anyone give me a reference where I can read on the subject?

Thanks.

Thanks for the answer.
Basically it is a full article that brings all the possible issues
concerning the subjet but it doesn't answer the question regarding Office97.
What will happen to it?
