I am having a major problem with office 2007. Outlook 2007 locks up on its
own i.e. I open it to check my mail, if I go back to it later on its
minimised and not responding, I end task through the task manager. Then I
restart outlook, nothing happens although there is a process running in task
manager, I end this task and then restart outlook, options to run in safe
mode or not either option opens up outlook. Then the whole process starts
again.
Word and Excell just lock up when I try to open up via my computer or
explorer i.e. click on the file to open up the program rather than open up
word/excell first and then find the file to open. I have to close via end
task and then restart.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled, I have run diagnostics, I have increased
the RAM, I have removed and and replaced the PST file.
I have checked all the posts and nobody seems to have any simple solutions.
I have a simplistic view of how to run diagnostics and repair files so
simple words are needed.

Does it actually freeze totally or does it come back after waiting 10-15
mins?
What kind of email account do you have?
Do Word and Excel freeze with Outlook closed (no Outlook process in task
manager)?
Windows XP or Vista?
