Mail merge works in 03 but not in 07

I have found when trying to run a mail merge macro built in Office 2003,
gives an error in Office 2007. The error is string exceeds 255 charactars.
Has any one else seen this problem? What are the steps to fix it?

Assuming you're working from Word, you may want to use the link below to post in the Word Mailmerge discussion group and include the
macro in your message there. There are a number of Word fields, for example, that have a specific character/parameter limit, such
as the file path.
