lost special characters while saving mail or note

Hi,

I have a big problem, while i save a mail / note in text it lost
special characters:

<rkkinh>‘�°–³Üʤ¬£˜¦ </rkkinh> saved this one as text.

And open it with notepad:

<rkkinh>‘�°–³Üʤ£˜¦ </rkkinh>

The following sign is lost ¬
HELP !

in office 2003 ff thing is working ok
