Default Lost Product Key for Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007

I recently rebooted my computer, thinking I still currently had my product
key for my Microsoft Office 2007 product. I unfortunately cannot find my
product key. All I have is the The CD for instalation. This is an official
Microsoft Office Product. I bought my product almost 2 years ago from Costco.
I have no records of buying the product, just the CD. Is there anyway I can
find out my product or replace it, without having to go out and buy a new one?

If you can help me that would be great!

George

Why would you need a product key if all you did was "re-booted"? Do you
ACTUALLY mean that you re-INSTALLED?

The cd came in a case with a big orange sticker on which is printed 'do not
lose'
Since you cannot provide proof of purchase MS is unlikely to provide you
with a key.
BTW rebooting is when you turn your pc off & on, reformating is when you
destroy all data & files on the PC
