Default Installing copy to new computer

I have Office 2000 which was factory installed on my old computer (Gateway),
I also have the disks, but don't know the product ID to load it on my new
computer.
I don't have the original sleeves the discs shipped in, and that's where the
key was.
How can I load this program on my new computer?

Provided it was NOT an OEM version, try the directions in this article

A preinstalled (OEM) version of Office usually cannot be transferred to
another computer, but you should read your End User License Agreement to
see if it says something different. Usually the software is only
licensed for use on the computer it was originally installed on by the
computer manufacturer, so you probably need to purchase a new copy of
Office for your new computer.
