Default Installation of Office 2003

When changing harddisk in my PC, the main disk was renamed from C:\ to I:\.
Now I can't install Office 2003 again. It states "Error 1327. Invalid unit
C:\"

I have tried to change C:\ in all setup.ini files, but it does not work. I
have also tried to add INSTALLLOCATION=I:\ in the setup.ini file.

Is there another way than to re-format my main drive and call it C:\?

You might try posting to the group that supports your o/s detailing what you
did & mean by 'changing hd'

There is no such thing as 'main disk' there is a disk on which the o/s is
installed & this could have allmost any drive letter

Sorry if I used the wrong group. I should have used Office setup I assume.

With main disk I meant the disk on which I have XP installed (which is named
I:\).

So when trying to install I don't even get the question where to install it,
just the error message 1327.

I managed to install it this morning. It was too late yesterday night...
