Install Office

Trying to install Office XP on parents computer. I know that it SHOULD be at
START, ALL PROGRAMS (like it is on my computer). However, I find all the
files at START, MY COMPUTER, C:\, PROGRAM FILES and I can't get them to open.
I keep getting message that says something to the effect "...need to
install...". My gut feeling is that I'm pretty close, just not there yet.
Thanks in advance for any help !

Put in the Office CD into your CD ROM and open the CD by clicking on it and selecting Explore
.. When all the files open on the Office CD then select Setup
