Default I am concerned about moving all the office/plant to Office 2007.

Will everyone be able to read our emails? I have to convert all my documents
for attachment to '97-2003 or they cannot open them now. Will this continue?

E-mail SHOULD be sent plain text, though HTML for simple formatting is
common. If you're sending plain text or simple HTML e-mail, then
anyone else should be able to read it. OTOH, if you're sending MIMEd
Word documents, you're already making things difficult, and if you're
using .docx format, nearly impossible.

This will continue as long as the people to whom you're sending e-mail
continue to use older versions of Office. If these people are outside
your organization or if this is personal use, then this situation is
quite likely to last for a few more years. OTOH, if these people are
all inside your organization, this problem will last only as long as
it takes all of them to upgrade. However, any of them who send e-mail
outside your organization would still have this problem.
