Hyperlink Issue

As a teacher, I keep all my education lesson plans at home on my computer and
transfer them via flash drive to my school's laptop. These documents are Word
2007 documents converted to Word 97 documents, and they are filled with
hyperlinks. All documents are in folders and all are contained within one
folder I transfer.
The problem is that that not all hyperlinks function (most do) when I
transfer the work. The non-working links fail to duplicate the file path from
the root drive. The originating drive is "H" and the destination drive is
"C".

Can you tell me how to correct the problem without individually checking
about 1000 hyperlinks?
